I’ve been binge-watching Game of Thrones for far too long. since the first episode (bit by bit, because I’m so busy), having heard nothing but wonderful things about it from friends, family, and IMDb reviewers. Plus, with such great talent and a wonderful book series, how could it go wrong? The good news is that 'Game of Thrones' did not go wrong. Quite the opposite. Not only is it a rare TV show that does justice to its original source and treats it with respect, but it is also one of the best, most addictive, and consistently compelling shows of recent years in its own right. The TV show is so amazing that you have to check it out to see if it was made for TV, when everything is done to such a high standard that it puts many of the movies made today to shame. It is one of the strongest examples of an acclaimed show that deserves all the praise it receives. Visually, Game of Thrones looks amazing. The scenery is spectacular, the sets are incredibly atmospheric and beautiful to the eye, the detail is very meticulous, and the costumes fit the characters to a tee. Then there are the special effects, which are some of the best of any TV program and are not overused or abused, their scale, detail, and their character and soul are better than many big budget blockbusters. And so is the cinematography and editing, which are also of cinematic quality. You can’t talk about Game of Thrones; without mentioning the thematically, orchestrally and atmospherically layered musical scores and the unforgettable main theme. Again, worthy of a big budget fantasy/action/drama film. It’s hard not to be impressed by the quality of the writing, exceptional is not a strong enough adjective to describe how good the writing is. It always has a natural flow, is multi-layered, thought-provoking and displays a wide range of emotions such as tense suspense, sharp pathos and witty humor. The plot lines are paced so beautifully, structured with such nuance and attention to coherence, high emotional level and skillfully and tactfully touches on complex and sensitive topics. #39; There is always a reason, never because of it. Not only are the set pieces executed with great epic scale, excellent staging, excitement and dramatic tension, but beneath all the scale and sharp attention to detail there is a lot of heart and multi-layeredness. They are not too long, nor are there any inappropriate elements. The characters are also a huge part of the appeal. ‘Game of Thrones’ has characters that are so well developed and as close to real life as possible, despite being in a fantasy world. These characters are not hero and villain archetypes (Joffrey is the only one close to that, but the difference is that he is incredibly interesting, much developed, and ranks well above a hundred percent on the threat level scale). much more and has its pros and cons. The decisions are logical and no character likes it less when a decision is not the right one, because mistakes are acknowledged and learned from.
