When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, a mysterious, wealthy client changes their lives forever. The film was shot in Budapest, Hungary and Carrara, Italy.

Boring script, weird editing, terrible pacing, and literally stupid Power Point transitions. It’s so incredibly long, and yet there are still unresolved storylines.

As far as architecture movies go, Megalopolis was at least more entertaining this year. I’d be very upset if this won Best Picture ahead of Anora.
