Chronology
Amidst the bitter feud between the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun, two sisters fight on opposing sides in a war of magical technology and clashing beliefs. Fortiche Productions produced a music video for Riot in 2013 called “Get Jinxed.” Jinx and the city of Piltover are featured in it. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series that took several years to complete. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce.

I watched it with my parents, who know nothing about the League universe
sings. I’ve been playing League since 2010, so my opinion may be a little biased, but my parents were pleasantly surprised. They said it was a little obvious at times that this show was aimed more at a young adult audience. There’s a bit of pop song usage, and the villain goes a little overboard with his twisted mustache.
As for me, I loved it!
Overall, though, they enjoyed the first three episodes and wouldn’t mind watching the rest. It was everything I’d hoped for and more. Riot’s art department has always been the best. And given Fortiche’s track record, I knew there was little chance of him messing it up.
And it showcases Riot’s best talent
Knowing Riot’s art department, it has an excellent story, well-written characters, and a world full of stories to pull from. Overall, this show is a great success. 9/10: Amazing.
