Joe, a CIA agent, tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real military advisors helped create a more authentic interpretation of weapons handling, house cleaning, positioning, squad actions, etc. Featured in Premios Soberano (2024). I waited a long time for 4 episodes to really dive into it. The idea was to give ourselves the opportunity to appreciate the gift given to us by the many renowned actors who contributed to this work, which is otherwise enjoyable and widely acclaimed despite mixed reviews. Many viewers have heard stories from a similar point of view, but it remains an exciting perspective when you are dealing with a confusing but well-paced plot with female protagonists, each of whom confidently holds our attention every time they appear. At the halfway point, we can’t tell if that sense of urgency, as we learn more and more about what’s going on, will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter, the budget, and the amount of talent they’ve been able to transfer it to the screen with, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, mainly because of how solid the series feels.
